Zshhhhhh! Zshhhhhhhh!

Sometimes I think Owen is ALL BOY!

Then he reminds me that he is still under the influence of a big SISTER! :)

toffonock falls

These are actually the Taughannock Falls. I just looked at the sign as we were passing by one day and said we should go visit the Toffonock falls. Kurt of course still makes fun of me, though I don't know that he had the right pronunciation either, good luck to readers!

This is the base of the trail head--it is only a 3/4 mile walk to the falls but we certainly took our time. Owen practically walked/ran the whole way there.

It's my thing!

I love getting chocolate covered pretzels from Cornell. I don't know why. They probably taste the same as ones you could find at the grocery store. I think I don't really crave the pretzels themselves as much as the whole experience. But the pretzel's certainly COMPLETE the experience.

The bus ride to campus--costs more then my pretzels
but its more fun then driving our car

Johnson Museum--we don't see it every time, just on this round

The Pretzels!

And on this trip Kurt and I wore our Heely's so we could zoom around campus--
I decided I like to zoom in private more then in public (sorry no pictures of the zooming)

Too many pictures of Owen's cool hair but I like them
Kurt's heely's!

Mothers Day Spoils

The best part of my mothers day weekend was the trip to the Palmyra Temple I took on Saturday--but don't tell my kids that :) While I was away they created chocolate roses and ground up Oreo's for the dirt. If you look close enough you'll see the gummy worms trying to crawl out--I'm sure that part was Kurt's idea.

And these are the flowers I bought for myself :)--not really for Mothers day, but the timing worked out about right

Squeaky Shoes

One thing I don't miss about living in China is getting suckered into pictures like that jewel above.......I DO miss sweet finds like these Squeaky Shoes we bought as a gag gift a year or two ago. I couldn’t find Owens other pair of shoes last month so I turned to the gag shoes. As soon as Owen took his first step he had found his new favorite game. He walked as fast as he could, not wanting to miss a beat. He smiled and laughed. He would stay in the same place just stomping his feet to hear the squeak. He is constantly finding and bringing these shoes to Kurt or I to put them on him again and again and squeaks all around the house. It is too cute to be annoying! I tried to get a good video clip, but I can never seem to time it right, and now one shoe is now missing. I think it is in Utah. But here is a video clip, not great, but good for the record.
